Event Description

Join science education leaders, informal educators, after school staff, and out-of-school educators for this unique two-weekend (6 days & 4 nights) institute to learn about and begin implementation of the NGSS and Common Core. The institute will demystify the expectations of NGSS and model the intersection of Common Core with NGSS. Key Earth, biological and ecological issues such as climate and human impacts on montane ecosystems, environments, and watersheds will be a focus.
