Event Description

The goal of the NSF funded Water Science Project is to develop, test, and implement innovative water science and engineering practices and careers in middle school. 

Water SCIENCE - Supporting Collaborative Inquiry, EngiNeering & Career Exploration with Water

  • Grades 5-8 teachers
  • Free activities on the Innovative Technology In Science Inquiry Portal. 
  • Stipend - $1,200 for completing all components
  • University Credit - 1 unit Fresno State
  • Water Quality Kits (5) for classroom
  • Digital Microscope for your classroom
  • Water filtration project materials for classroom

Two days of PD - Saturday December 10 and 17 - one follow-up 1/2 day TBD. 

8:30 am to 4:00 pm each day

All classroom activities and instruction must be completed by end of February 2017.
